Come join me cooking over the campfire in this week's summer episode! I have been dreaming of making this Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler recipe since winter. It tasted just how I remembered: sweet, gooey, and delicious! The gentle fire crackling and morning bird sounds are the perfect music. Then, I'll bring you with into the garden to pull some weeds and gather herbs to dry for making teas and herbal medicine. You can learn more about my favorite Old-Fashioned Preservation Methods: Hang Dry Herbs here!

Welcome to my cozy fantasy world of cooking! These soothing ASMR sounds and gentle music will transport you to my cottagecore kitchen and hobby farm with our cat and chicken friends. Come enjoy the beauty of nature and slow living in the countryside with me. I hope you enjoy this week's video of my fairytale country life!

recipes in this week’s video:

Let’s cook over the campfire together! The recipe for this incredible gooey and sweet Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler isn’t the prettiest dessert I’ve ever made, but boy is it delicious. This cobbler can be made inside in the oven, too, if campfire cooking isn’t your specialty!

final thoughts:

I just love cooking over the campfire! It is one of my favorite ways to express my creativity and really stretch my cognitive muscles. There are so many timing elements that go into cooking over the fire, so there is a lot of activity and new tasks constantly happening that need to be tended to with the paired consistency of routine. I thrive in those moments! I will see you next week with a new cozy episode.
