Beautiful Cottage Chocolate Fondue Spread

Happy Friday! Valentine’s Day is coming up around the corner, can you believe it? We do not do much for the holiday ourselves, but I do love any excuse to make some cute inspired foods. We recently partnered with the brand Masterchef to make some content on our Instagram channel for their Chocolate Fondue Maker. Jill and I had such a fun time styling this lovely little fondue maker. I thought that you might like to see the final photos for some inspiration!

This fondue pot comes with a built-in tray to hold your selections for dipping. It also comes with four forks for easy dipping. We thought it was a great product for a date night at home or a fun gathering with friends and family!

What to dip in chocolate fondue? There are so many options! We decided to go with a red and pink theme with strawberries and raspberries. You could easily incorporate other fruits like pineapple chunks, orange slices, or bananas. We love the look of little biscuit cookies and wafers. Marshmallows are always a fun option, especially for children!

Making fondue is rather simple. It is a ganache, and I loved making it in this fondue maker rather than over the stove. It made the entire process simple from start to finish!

If you are looking for a fun entertaining idea, I hope that you enjoyed getting some inspiration from this one!

Easy Milk Chocolate Fondue

Easy Milk Chocolate Fondue
Yield: 6
Author: Kayla Lobermeier
Cook time: 20 MinTotal time: 20 Min

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces milk chocolate (or any chocolate that you prefer, dark or semisweet)
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Dipping options: fruit, cookies, marshmallows, etc

Instructions

  1. In a fondue pot or double boiler, heat the chocolate and heavy cream together over low heat until the chocolate has fully melted. Stir the chocolate and cream together consistently, helping the chocolate to melt evenly and incorporate well into the cream, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. If using a double boiler, remove the pot from heat and stir in the vanilla. Otherwise, add the vanilla into your mixture in the fondue pot.
  3. Dip in your fruit or cookies into the warm chocolate and enjoy! Store any leftover fondue covered in the refrigerator.
