Vintage General Store Pantry Labels Printable

Hello, dear reader! How are you on this snowy winter day? Here in Iowa, the snow is falling in big fat flakes, and everyone in our family is home from school and work. I wanted to share with you a new printable in our shop that Jill designed.

After trying out different labels in our pantry over the years, we simply could not find the perfect fit to our prairiecore and cottagecore aesthetic in our home decor. Inspired by the labels of vintage pantry goods from old general stores, these labels feel as if they stepped right off the shelves! Each label is unique in its design with little facts about each herb and spice. We love that they look both individually unique and coordinate well together!

Don’t you just love them? Each label is unique and so beautiful! Jill included lots of wonderful little facts about each ingredient, much like what would be shared on a vintage product label. We wanted the labels to both coordinate and look like individual pieces. I think that was accomplished!

The labels look distressed and as if they are old and wrinkled. Really, they are just printed on 8.5 x 11-inch white sticker paper! They are really easy to make and print out yourself.

The time of year has arrived where I want to begin digging through all of our belongings and slowly saying goodbye to some things that we no longer use. The pantry has been in a cluttered disarray for a few months now, and it was nice to clean up the mess and replenish some of our stores. Now that winter is coming to an end, I can see what exactly we need to plant and purchase over the summer months to preserve for the upcoming 2023 winter season.

The pantry is really a place where I spend a lot of day, meal planning and gathering ingredients to cook our meals. I think that any place where we spend a lot of our time, whether exciting or not, should be made beautiful to our own preferences.
